Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Windows and Linux servers, including installation, configuration, patching and upgrades.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize database performance (SQL) including queries, stored procedures, indexing, and backups.
  • Deploy and manage scalable infrastructure and services on AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch etc.).
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, uptime and system reliability across production and staging environments.
  • Automate routine tasks using Bash/PowerShell/Python scripts to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Manage access control, infrastructure security, and compliance within cloud and on-prem systems.
  • Troubleshoot system incidents, diagnose root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning, backup strategy, and failover processes.
  • Monitor system resources using infrastructure monitoring tools and provide proactive support.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, troubleshooting procedures, architecture diagrams and compliance audits.
  • Provide on-call / rotational support for production environments as Skills & Qualifications :
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 3 6 years of hands-on experience as a System Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer / IT Operations Strong practical experience in Windows and Linux operating systems administration.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server) including backup, replication and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrated experience in AWS services (compute, storage, networking, security and monitoring).
