We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and configuration of tailored Windows system images for kiosk environments.
This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities and a collaborative mindset to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure Windows 10 system images for Windows Kiosk systems including future migration to Windows 11
- Build Windows system images using MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit)
- Create and implement Windows App Kiosks
- Conduct unit testing using Pester
- Apply hardening, customization and configuration knowledge for Windows Operating Systems (Win Enterprise, IOT)
- Utilize PowerShell for coding, scripting, module development and maintainable code creation
- Work with network technologies like Ethernet and services such as PXE, DHCP and image processing over networks
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building Windows system images with MDT and understanding Windows Operating Systems (Win Enterprise, IOT) and hardening processes
- 1-2 years of experience creating Windows App Kiosks and familiarity with testing practices like Pester
- Coding expertise in PowerShell scripting and module development, combined with experience in maintaining high-quality code
- Knowledge of network technologies including Ethernet, PXE, and DHCP services
Nice to have
- Certified PSD1 and proven qualifications in relevant fields
- Familiarity with SCCM or .NET/C# coding, showcasing versatility in system engineering
