Job Description: System Engineer Middleware (DevOps) (TRNSINFR05)– Technical Lead (Exp: 8 Years to 12 Years)
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced System Engineer Middleware (DevOps) as a Technical Lead, working in close collaboration and deep partnership with the rest of IT teams (internal and external) and Applications teams.
This job consist to assume the support function for Middleware transfer file solutions :
Messaging: IBM MQ Series, RabbitMQ, Omegamon for MQ
File Transfer: XFB Gateway, MFT/Globalscape, CFT, Secure Transport, Sentinel, OpenSSH
Monitoring: ELK Kibana
Protocols: MQ, MQTT, AMQP, FTP, SFTP, PESIT, AS2, etc.
- Experience should have 8 Years to 12 Years System Engineer Middleware (DevOps) of which 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure as Technician having high level knowledge and deep level practice of one or several of this middleware: IBM MQ series, XFB Gateway, Globalscape, CFT, Secure Transport, SFTP/OpenSSH.
- Mandatory experience (L3) in large-scale file transfer and messaging solutions. Experience working in multi-environment (DEV, QA, PROD) and multi-platform (Windows, Linux, Unix, z/OS) contexts.

- Expertise in messaging systems: IBM MQ Series, RabbitMQ, or Omegamon for MQ
- Strong knowledge of file transfer solutions: XFB Gateway, CFT, MFT/Globalscape, SecureTransport, Sentinel
- Be able to use file transfer protocols: FTP, SFTP, PESIT, AS2, etc.
- Ability to install, monitor, improve, and troubleshoot middleware platforms
- Solid knowledge of user management and system security (SSH, certificates, access control)
- Good scripting skills (Shell, PowerShell or equivalent) for automation
- Good experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for dashboarding, metrics, and alerting
- Ability to build custom monitoring dashboards and configure alerts for middleware components
- Knowledge with Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent tools is a plus
- Operating Systems & Tools
- Knowledge in Linux/Unix systems administration
- Experience with Windows Server environments
- Basic knowledge of mainframe (JCL, z/OS) is a plus
- Understanding of Kubernetes is a strong asset
Roles & Responsibility
Responsibility 1: To install and maintain middleware components.
Responsibility 2 : To monitor systems and take proactive actions to ensure solutions operate in accordance with agreed SLA levels.
Responsibility 3 : To configure and set up software based on application team requirements, providing appropriate and effective solutions.
Responsibility 4 : To investigate and resolve incidents, both short-term fixes and long-term corrective actions.
Responsibility 5 : To manage requests for changes or evolutions, including setting up new file transfer flows.
Responsibility 6: To provide 24/7 on-call support (weekly rotation) for in-scope middleware solutions.
