System Engineer

Job Overview

• The candidate will act as a key contributor and/or Product Owner, responsible for defining and managing system-level requirements, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, and supporting delivery using Agile methodologies.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strong domain expertise in automotive systems (Body, Vehicle Access, Seating, Lighting)
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into system-level requirements
• Perform subsystem and feature analysis, including requirement decomposition
• Manage interfaces across subsystems to ensure seamless integration
• Develop and maintain system requirements, boundary diagrams, and capability definitions
• Support system architecture definition and validation activities
• Use MBSE tools (e.g., MagicDraw) for system modeling and documentation
• Work in Agile environments (Scrum/SAFe) and participate in sprint ceremonies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, validation, integration)
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers and internal teams
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of System Engineering principles
• Experience in automotive domain (preferably Body systems: Climate, Lighting, Wiper, Washer, Mirrors)
• Hands-on experience in:
• System requirements development
• Boundary diagrams
• Capability definitions
• Experience with MagicDraw or similar MBSE tools
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe)
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  
  

Good to Have

• Experience working with OEMs (preferably Ford)
• Exposure to system integration and validation processes
• Understanding of end-to-end vehicle systems and architecture
