Job Description

Key Responsibilities

System Architecture and Design Design and implement a modular orchestration layer integrating multiple PETs (TEE, MPC, FL, HE).
End-to-End Ownership Lead the system architecture design, implementation, deployment and scaling. Own the integration with existing data exchange architectures, security data flows, trust boundaries.
Orchestration and Integration - Integrate open-source and proprietary PET frameworks into a unified platform, addressing real-world constraints such as latency, cost, and interoperability.
Technical Leadership and Vision Drive architectural decisions and technical direction for PET infrastructure, translating evolving research into practical system designs. Identify emerging paradigms and orchestration models within the PET community.
Mentorship - Work cross-functionally with research, product, and infrastructure teams. Mentor junior engineers on secure system design.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering or related discipline
3 to 5 years of experience in backend systems, distributed systems, or platform engineering.
Demonstrable experience in building systems driven by security and privacy constraints.
Familiarity with at least a few topics from secure systems, cryptography, privacy enhancing technologies, distributed systems
Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, Go, Rust, or Java).
Experience designing scalable, production-grade systems.
Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and microservices architectures.
