Job Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server OS environments (2016, 2019, 2022) Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues across hardware, OS, and network layers
- Design and implement PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration changes in accordance with best practices
- Monitor server performance, availability, and security compliance Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related services
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps Collaborate with other IT teams on infrastructure projects and service improvements
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to support critical systems and respond to incidents
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Engineering
Additional Job Standards
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Windows Server OS environments Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
- Solid understanding of server hardware, virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware), and networking fundamentals
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and WSUS
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SCOM)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
