Role Summary
The System Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the organization's IT infrastructure, including network security, endpoint systems, enterprise applications, and cloud environments. The role ensures high availability, performance, and security of systems while aligning with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Network Management
- Manage firewall configurations, network security rules, and VPN access
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security events
- Ensure infrastructure compliance with security standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues
Endpoint & Asset Management
- Configure and maintain laptops and endpoint devices
- Perform OS installations, patching, and system upgrades
- Maintain asset inventory in line with ISO 27001 requirements
- Ensure endpoint security and compliance
Software Management
- Install and maintain approved software applications
- Ensure licensing compliance
- Manage updates and vulnerability remediation
- Support secure software deployment
Cloud & Microsoft Ecosystem Management
- Administer Microsoft 365 services (identity, access, security)
- Manage Microsoft Azure resources (VMs, storage, networking)
- Implement security best practices in cloud environments
- Support backup and disaster recovery processes
Security & Compliance
- Support ISMS implementation and security controls
- Assist with vulnerability management and audits
- Maintain technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications & Skills
- B.Tech or equivalent qualification
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in system administration
- Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, and VPNs
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices and ISO 27001
