We are seeking an experienced
System Administrator (IIS / Windows Server SME) to manage, maintain, and optimize Windows-based infrastructure and IIS environments. The role requires strong expertise in server administration, web hosting environments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
- Install, configure, and maintain IIS (Internet Information Services) servers and hosted applications
- Monitor server performance, availability, and reliability; implement improvements where required
- Perform application deployments, configuration changes, and patch management
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to IIS, Windows OS, and hosted applications
- Manage SSL certificates, DNS, and domain configurations
- Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices
- Work closely with development and DevOps teams for environment setup and release activities
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell scripting
- Maintain system documentation and SOPs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Windows Server Administration
- Hands-on expertise in IIS configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, and DNS
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, ports, firewalls, load balancing)
- Experience in performance tuning and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
