About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on System Administrator / IT Executive who enjoys solving real-time tech issues and keeping systems running smoothly. If you have strong hardware troubleshooting skills + L1 support experience, this role is for you.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Provide Level 1 support for desktops, laptops & peripherals
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 OS issues
- Install, configure & maintain end-user systems
- Manage user accounts, password resets & lockouts (Active Directory)
- Handle hardware troubleshooting & basic repairs (RAM, HDD/SSD, BIOS, power issues)
- Diagnose printer issues (drivers, spooler, connectivity)
- Configure LAN/Wi-Fi & troubleshoot network issues (DNS, IP, access)
- Support onboarding/offboarding (asset allocation, system setup, access control)
- Perform system updates, patching & software installations
- Assist in antivirus deployment & monitoring
- Maintain IT asset inventory & documentation
- Log, track & resolve tickets via IT helpdesk system
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams when required
What We're Looking For (Skills)
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS & basic Linux
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs)
- Active Directory & Group Policy experience
- Hands-on experience in desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting
- OS installation, system formatting & driver configuration
- Printer, scanner & peripheral troubleshooting
- Basic IT security & backup knowledge
- IT asset lifecycle management understanding
- cPanel knowledge is a bonus
