CASHPOR Micro Credit is a leading RBI-regulated NBFC-MFI committed to financial inclusion and poverty alleviation for Below Poverty Line (BPL) women across India. With operations spanning hundreds of branches, our technology infrastructure powers mission-critical loan origination, repayment systems, MIS reporting, backup operations, and nationwide branch connectivity.

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to strengthen our ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Infrastructure team and ensure high availability, security, cloud governance, backup resilience, and vendor infrastructure cost control across our enterprise ecosystem.

Position Details

  • Role: Senior System Administrator
  • Location: Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh (Head Office | On-Site)

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Server Administration & Infrastructure Uptime

  • Manage and maintain Linux and Windows production servers across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Ensure 99.9% uptime for mission-critical applications supporting business operations.
  • Monitor server health, performance, resource utilization, and availability.

2. Cloud Infrastructure Management

  • Administer cloud workloads across AWS / Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Manage EC2/VM instances, storage, IAM permissions, VPC/networking, snapshots, and cost optimization.
  • Coordinate cloud performance tuning and infrastructure scaling.

3. NAS, Backup & Disaster Recovery Governance

  • Manage NAS storage environments, backup scheduling, data replication, and restore testing.
  • Ensure periodic disaster recovery validation and business continuity readiness.
  • Monitor backup success rates and storage capacity planning.

4. Patch Management & Security Compliance

  • Execute OS patching, firmware upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and server hardening.
  • Maintain server patch status and coordinate closure of VAPT observations.
  • Ensure infrastructure compliance with IT governance and cyber security standards.

5. Access Control & Identity Administration

  • Provision, modify, and revoke server-level access.
  • Enforce privileged access management and least privilege controls.
  • Maintain audit-ready logs and access review records.

6. Vendor Coordination & ICT Billing Verification

  • Act as technical SPOC for data centre, cloud, NAS, and managed service vendors.
  • Validate vendor invoices against SLA reports, usage logs, and contractual commitments.
  • Support ICT budget control through monthly billing reconciliation.

7. Documentation, Audit Support & Infrastructure Governance

  • Maintain complete asset register of servers, cloud instances, storage devices, and licenses.
  • Support IT audits with server logs, patch reports, access records, and backup evidence.
  • Maintain change records, uptime reports, and disaster recovery documentation.

Required Technical Skills

Operating Systems

  • Linux Administration: RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu
  • Windows Server: 2016 / 2019 / 2022

Cloud Platforms

  • AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
  • Microsoft Azure (Virtual Machines, Azure AD, Storage)

Storage & Backup

  • NAS Administration (Synology / QNAP / NetApp)
  • Backup Tools: Veeam / Acronis / AWS Backup

Virtualization

  • VMware ESXi / vSphere
  • Microsoft Hyper-V

Monitoring & Patch Tools

  • Nagios / Zabbix / PRTG
  • WSUS / YUM / APT / Patch Manager

Identity & Access

  • Active Directory / Azure AD / LDAP

Automation (Preferred)

  • Bash / PowerShell / Basic Python scripting

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for professionals who have:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on System Administration experience
  • Strong exposure to production server management
  • Practical cloud administration expertise
  • Experience in backup recovery and disaster recovery testing
  • Vendor handling and infrastructure billing validation experience
  • Strong documentation and audit coordination mindset
  • Exposure to BFSI / NBFC / enterprise IT environments will be preferred
