System Administrator

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficient operation of servers, networks, and enterprise systems. This role requires hands-on experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in both on-premise and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and applications
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data
• Automate routine tasks using scripting tools
• Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure projects

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals
• Experience with backup and recovery tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as RHCE, MCSA, or equivalent
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of configuration management tools
