Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a System Administrator based in Guyana, South America. The System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT systems, ensuring their availability, and providing technical support to resolve system issues efficiently. Duties also include performing regular system performance checks, troubleshooting network problems, maintaining IT infrastructure and security, and ensuring system backups are up-to-date and operational.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in System Administration, with experience in managing servers and system infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical challenges
• Expertise in providing Technical Support to end-users and ensuring seamless system operations
• Skills in Network Administration and managing network infrastructure
• Comprehensive knowledge of Information Technology systems and security protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with different departments
• Flexibility to adapt to an on-site role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco are an added advantage
