System Administration - (Coimbatore, India)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System Administrator to manage and maintain our BMME (Business Management and Monitoring Environment) system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and reliability of the BMME system, supporting end-users, and collaborating with various departments to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

System Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain BMME system software and hardware.

• Monitor sytrastem performance and ensure the reliability and availability of the BMME system.

• Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding BMME system-related issues.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems.

• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Backup and Recovery:

• Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.

• Regularly test backup systems and disaster recovery plans.

Security:

• Implement and enforce security policies to protect the BMME system from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with IT team members and other departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of the BMME system.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.

Performance Optimization:

• Analyze system performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements.

• Identify and implement strategies to enhance system efficiency and user experience.

System/Software Training:

• Provide system / software training for all the future new joiners on the system interface knowledge transfer etc.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator, preferably with experience in managing BMME systems or similar environments.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in system administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and networks.

• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies.

• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).

• Experience with backup and recovery tools and procedures.

• Understanding of network protocols, security principles, and firewall configurations.

Salary:

Maximum INR: 50,000 (Based on Experience and Performance)
