System Administration with Veeam Backup Expert
Responsibilities
Windows, VMWare, Azure, Veeam Backup Expert
Qualifications
As needed basis Configure, install Veeam backup infrastructure, Virtual and physical endpoint backups.
Should primarily have hands on experience with Veeam Backup Tool.
Must have hands on working experience on Windows OS and worked on VMware ESXi / Hyper-V environment with basic knowledge of Cloud Computing.
Strong Troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
Able to perform advanced technical troubleshooting and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Should have implemented backup strategies for SQL DB, File system and image level backup in the physical infrastructure environment and/or in a cloud environment.
Develop and maintain technical and user documentation pertaining to backup policies, reporting and restoration of data for File System, Application data and database backup.
Configuring and scheduling veeam backups, file system and application backups and troubleshooting backup failures by taking appropriate steps.
Performing backup monitoring, diagnostics, complex root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to prevent future service interruptions.
Manage online data backups and the overall execution of retention policies.
Reviewing the logs and troubleshooting the errors.
Planning DR drills & troubleshooting Disaster Recovery issues.
Evaluate all plans and perform tests in disaster recovery process.
Run all pro-active checks pertaining to backup environments.
Backup performance fine-tuning and media management.
Restore data from backup repositories when requested.
Understanding the client requirement and design the solution which meets the RTO, and RTO as per the BCP.
Provide technical support for business application backup and restoration in coordination with business application owners.
Extensive experience on Veeam Backup and recovery, veeam backup failure, veeam back up configuration on multiple environment such as onprem, azure, aws etc.
Perform day to day activities within the Azure AD and O365 tenant including configuring, managing, and supporting the entire M365 stackWork closely with vendors including Microsoft to resolve system issues in a timely manner.
