Job Description

VenPep Group is looking for a System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, internal systems, and network environments. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance of servers, workstations, and corporate IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux-based servers, workstations, and network devices
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user account management
  • Monitor system performance, uptime, and proactively address infrastructure issues
  • Manage corporate Microsoft 365 suite: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune
  • Implement and maintain IT security policies including firewalls, antivirus, and patch management
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions ensuring data integrity and RTO/RPO targets
  • Support end-users with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
  • Manage VPN, remote access, and secure connectivity for work-from-office setups
  • Administer and maintain company WordPress websites: core updates, plugin management, theme configuration, performance optimization, and security hardening
  • Manage DNS records across registrars and cloud DNS services (Route 53, Azure DNS, Cloudflare) for all company domains and subdomains
  • Provision, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure: EC2/VMs, S3/Blob Storage, RDS, VPCs, load balancers, and auto-scaling groups
  • Manage end-to-end SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle: procurement, installation, renewal, and monitoring across all hosted domains and services
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, software licensing, and support contracts
  • Document IT procedures, network diagrams, SSL inventory, and cloud architecture configurations

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Infrastructure Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) administration
  • Proficiency in Linux server administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL)
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure AD
  • Knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, and switches
  • Hands-on experience managing WordPress websites including security plugins (Wordfence, iThemes), caching (WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache), and hosting configurations
  • Proficiency in DNS management: A, CNAME, MX, TXT, SPF/DKIM/DMARC records across multiple domains
  • Working knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud infrastructure management and console administration
  • Experience managing SSL/TLS certificates: Let's Encrypt, Comodo, DigiCert, or cloud-native certificate managers (AWS ACM, Azure Key Vault)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies: VMware vSphere, Hyper-V
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to manage incidents under pressure

NICE TO HAVE

  • AWS certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, or SysOps Administrator) — strongly preferred
  • Microsoft Azure certification (AZ-104 Azure Administrator or AZ-900) — strongly preferred
  • Microsoft certifications: MCP or MCSA
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform or CloudFormation for managing cloud resources
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools: Freshservice, ServiceNow, or Jira Service Management
  • Experience with CDN management (Cloudflare, AWS CloudFront) and web performance optimization
