System Admin

Install and configure software, hardware, and networks.

o Set up accounts and workstations for users, Office 365

o Configure servers and networking devices (e.g., firewalls, routers, switches).

o Ensure system security by installing and configuring firewalls (FortiGate) and antivirus software (Kaspersky Endpoint Security).

o Perform regular backups, maintenance, and recovery tasks.

o Apply software patches, updates, and firmware upgrades.

o Provide technical support for users and troubleshoot Laptop/Desktop, Hardware, software, and network issues.

o Respond to and resolve helpdesk requests.

o Create and manage user permissions and roles.

o Troubleshoot network issues and ensure network availability to all system users.

o Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.

o Monitor cybersecurity threats and mitigate risks (including phishing, malware, etc.).

o Manage data security, including setting up and enforcing firewalls, permissions, and encryption.

o Optimize system performance through routine diagnostics, maintenance, and tuning.

o Research and recommend new technologies for improving system operations.

o Perform capacity planning and scaling as required.

o Document all IT processes, including configuration, setup, and troubleshooting guides.

o Maintain records of all changes and updates made to the system.

o Responsible for Asset Management, Procurement and Vendor Management

o Kaspersky antivirus software Management

o Managing IT budgets and resources.

o Provide KPI reports to the GRC / Management team on the periodic basis.

o Implementing security measures to protect IT assets and data as per the defined process.

o Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards as per the defined process.

o Software license, Service device, and other device AMC renewals

Skills and Qualifications:

o Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments.

o Hands-on experience with servers, networks (LAN, WAN), and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).

o Knowledge of system security (firewalls, switches, intrusion detection, etc.).

o Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and techniques.

o Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.

o Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is desirable.

o Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly.

o Ability to analyze system logs and identify potential issues.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

o Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in system administration, network administration, or a similar role.

Certifications like CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) are a plus.
