Essential Job Functions:
Design, implement, and manage lab IT infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and network components.
Administer and optimize virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox), including HA configuration, VM provisioning, live migration, and performance tuning.
Install & Mange Windows Server infrastructure and maintain Windows 10/11 lab endpoints.
Administer Linux systems (Ubuntu, Alma Linux), including patching, hardening, service management, and troubleshooting.
Ensure system security through regular patching, vulnerability remediation, access control management, and compliance with organizational security standards.
Maintain and update technical documentation, SOPs, infrastructure diagrams, and compliance records.
Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively address bottlenecks, capacity issues, and system risks.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware support, warranty services, and technical escalations.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for infrastructure and application-related issues.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to lab stakeholders.
Qualifications: Skills:
Virtualization:
Advanced experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox
HA clustering, live migration, storage integration
Operating Systems:
Windows Server (2016/2019/2022 preferred)
Windows 10/11
Ubuntu / AlmaLinux
Networking:
VLAN design and segmentation
Firewall configuration
DHCP/DNS troubleshooting
Basic routing knowledge
Storage:
SAN/NAS concepts
RAID
Snapshot & replication strategies
Education:
Bachelor Engineering or Any PG.
Experience:
2-3 Years
