Requirement: Synon Developer

Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Synon/2E (CA 2E) modeling tool.
- Write or modify RPG/RPGLE, CL, and DB2/400 components generated from Synon models.
- Participate in solution design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues on IBM I.
- Perform system documentation and code reviews.
- Collaborate with business users, QA teams, and other developers.
- Provide support during deployments and post-production.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in application development on IBM i (AS/400, iSeries).
- Proficiency in CA 2E (Synon/2E) modeling tool.
- Strong hands-on experience with RPG III/IV, RPGLE, and CLP.
- Solid knowledge of DB2/400 and embedded SQL.
- Understanding of ILE concepts, service programs, and binding directories.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with change management tools (e.g., Implementer).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
