Speech & Swallowing Therapist (Homecare – Lucknow)
Medanta Homecare is looking for an experienced Speech & Swallowing Therapist with expertise in Dysphagia Management and Head & Neck Oncology Rehabilitation to join our growing Homecare team in Lucknow.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessment and management of speech, voice, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Manage patients with dysphagia using advanced rehabilitation techniques.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation for Head & Neck Oncology patients.
Educate patients and caregivers regarding swallowing safety, aspiration prevention, and home exercise programs.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures.
Collaborate with ENT Surgeons, Oncologists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.
Travel within Lucknow for scheduled home visits while maintaining Medanta's clinical quality standards.
Eligibility:
BASLP / MASLP from a recognized institution.
Minimum 4+ years of clinical experience.
Experience in Head & Neck Oncology rehabilitation.
Experience in rehabilitation following Laser Surgeries of the oral cavity, pharynx, and larynx.
Expertise in Swallowing Assessment and Dysphagia Management.
Hands-on experience with swallowing rehabilitation maneuvers, including:
Mendelsohn Maneuver
Masako Maneuver
Effortful Swallow
Supraglottic Swallow
Super-Supraglottic Swallow
Shaker Exercise
Chin Tuck Against Resistance (CTAR)
Experience with FEES and/or VFSS is preferred.
Excellent communication, counseling, and patient management skills.
Willingness to travel for homecare services.
