SW Quality Engineer II

Responsible for ensuring high-quality software solutions by planning, executing, and automating tests for NCR's product software systems. Acts as the SW Quality Engineer in an Agile team, contributing to full test coverage, defect identification, and continuous improvement of testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct manual and automated testing of software systems and components
• Develop and maintain test scripts, automation keywords, and reusable components
• Perform functional, regression, performance, volume, and reliability testing
• Record, track, and report defects using tools like JIRA or QC
• Configure and manage test environments (hardware/software)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirement coverage
• Monitor test execution, provide metrics, and assist in estimating efforts
• Apply troubleshooting and debugging techniques to support developers
• Stay updated on testing methodologies, technologies, and best practices
