Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design quality assurance and test processes for end-user applications, systems software, and firmware across hardware, networked, and Internet-based platforms.
  • Analyze design specifications to determine required test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities.
  • Execute and write portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation; identify and debug issues with code and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with project teams and internal or outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective QA solutions.
  • Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and software modifications.
  • Apply systematic processes and tools to automate test execution and validate software quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
  • Knowledge of software QA tools and processes.
  • Proficient in software testing methodologies, including test plan execution, debugging, and automation scripts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of software and firmware design across multiple platform types.
