Responsibilities
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Development and review of changes with a focus for design, efficiency, and quality
- Work as part of a team as well as working autonomously
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Contribute to improvements to the software development process
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for review
- Design, develop, and maintain the Business Intelligence suite, which is based on TIBCO Jaspersoft Reporting Server
- Customize TIBCO Jaspersoft Reporting Server code to meet specific business requirements
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical requirements and project goals
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Experience developing in an Agile environment, using current engineering best practices
- Experience using - CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript
- Experience with at least one MVC Framework - eg. Backbone.js, Ember.js, Angular.js
- Experience using Spring Framework
- Experience using a RDBMS and SQL (MS SQL Server, Oracle)
- Experience in SCM technologies such as Git, SVN
- Proficiency in using Jaspersoft Studio for designing and developing complex reports
- Experience in data warehousing concepts
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for continuous integration and deployment
- Knowledge of other Business Intelligence tools is a plus (Databricks and Power BI)
