Job summary :
Position Overview: As part of the Technology for Operations (TFO) team, you will serve as a key player in automating business processes using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools like BluePrism and Automation Anywhere. Your role will focus on automating operations, driving innovation, and ensuring efficiency by creating and optimizing automation workflows for various clients. You will work with the sales, offering, and delivery teams to design solutions, implement automation, and provide technical documentation. The role requires strong skills in RPA, coding in C#, VB.NET, and .NET, along with experience in troubleshooting and supporting automation processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Process Automation & Development:
- Design and implement automated workflows using Automation Anywhere, BluePrism, and other RPA tools.
- Write code in C#, VB.NET, and .NET to provide end-to-end automation solutions.
- Automate business processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure processes are built according to industry best practices and client requirements.
Technical Documentation & Support:
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as BRD (Business Requirement Document), PDD (Process Definition Document), SDD (Solution Design Document), and Run Books.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RPA bots and automation tools.
- Work closely with the client and internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of automation solutions.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work alongside the sales, offering, and delivery teams to understand client needs and build suitable automation solutions.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure proper alignment of project goals and expectations.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to review project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze complex problems and implement innovative solutions using RPA technologies.
- Continuously improve automation processes by leveraging advanced tools and frameworks.
- Monitor the performance of automation bots and refine processes to enhance performance and reliability.
Learning & Knowledge Sharing:
- Stay updated on the latest RPA technologies and trends (including UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, etc.).
- Share knowledge and best practices with peers and stakeholders to improve team capabilities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, if applicable.
- Operational Support:
- Provide RPA support and troubleshooting assistance during the operational phase.
- Engage in system maintenance and updates to ensure smooth running of automated processes.
- Participate in periodic reviews of bots and process flows to ensure compliance with project objectives and client needs.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong proficiency with Automation Anywhere and other RPA tools (e.g., BluePrism, UiPath).
- Experience in automating business processes with RPA tools.
- Strong understanding of RPA life cycle, including development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in .NET programming, especially in C# and VB.NET.
- Hands-on experience in creating Excel Macros and automating repetitive tasks in Excel.
- Understanding of SQL Server and scripting for automating tasks and data extraction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot RPA bots and automation issues.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage and resolve disputes and conflicts with stakeholders when needed.
- Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate.
- Exposure to RPA support and troubleshooting in a production environment.
- Understanding of RPA documentation (BRD, PDD, SDD, Run Books, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of UiPath in addition to Automation Anywhere.
- Knowledge of additional programming concepts, including OOPs (Object-Oriented Programming).
