Job Description

Role OverviewResponsible for managing sales for a zone comprising 8-9 banking partner circles and driving relationship management with key external and internal stakeholders. The role will also drive and manage 45-50% of overall Banca business through partner bank circles and co-brand partners.Role Accountability

  1. Prepare a roadmap with annual strategy and key focus areas for every circle under supervision, ensuring growth as per MOUs, target setting, performance monitoring, and infrastructure/resource adequacy.
  2. Oversee location-wise banca sales execution strategy within each circle in conjunction with circle-level channel managers and senior functionaries of partner banks to achieve overall organizational objectives.
  3. Work closely with the team and key stakeholders to identify avenues for organic and inorganic growth, budget implementation and adherence, cost rationalization initiatives, and sales efficiency/productivity tools.
  4. Manage relationships with stakeholders across partner banks, joint ventures, associates, and co-brand partners at multiple levels.
  5. Partner with cross-functional leaders to support field teams in achieving their business goals.
  6. Responsible for hiring, productivity, and performance management of FTEs and NFTEs across circles by driving efficiencies and compliance across sales and operational processes.
  7. Monitor review mechanisms with partner banks to track progress against goals and ensure timely course correction.
  8. Drive digital transition and alternate sourcing channel development initiatives across circles under supervision.
  9. Lead idea generation and execution planning discussions focused on developing new sourcing channels, market benchmarking, and adopting industry best practices and internal innovation initiatives.
  10. Develop sustainable sourcing channels through partner banks for co-branded products, engaging with senior leadership including MDs/CEOs of partner banks across geographies.
  11. Oversee successful completion of organization-wide projects such as KYC compliance of existing customer base by coordinating with operations, supporting collections efforts, and advising product/marketing teams on suitable merchant tie-ups.
  12. Work with cross-functional leadership to ensure seamless customer complaint management and redressal at branch level.
  13. Mentor team members to take on larger responsibilities and ensure a healthy succession pipeline.
  14. Drive the team to organize regular partner engagement events across regions.
  15. Review processes and policies to drive simplification, improved efficiency, and effectiveness.
  16. Ensure diversity within the team and foster a culture of open, transparent, and effective communication to retain talent across FTE and NFTE levels.
  17. Conduct regular engagement events and zonal business review meetings to align teams with business objectives.
  18. Ensure process documentation and adherence to compliance requirements.
  19. Ensure monthly location monitoring across all locations with appropriate reporting.
  20. Ensure annual process audits and quarterly location audits are completed satisfactorily.
  21. Drive local marketing tie-ups through pilot business development initiatives.
  22. Actively assist in customer service activities in the field when required.
  23. Oversee and drive partner connect programs across various partners throughout the year.
  24. Ensure verification processes are followed, including random verification of sourcing as per defined guidelines.
  25. Ensure coordination with the Information Security team to implement required controls across partner and sales offices.

  1. Achievement of agreed business targets including new account acquisition, premium mix, cross-sell contribution, cost efficiency, attrition control, and digital sourcing penetration
  2. Percentage of FTEs achieving assigned targets
  3. FTE attrition rate
  4. No adverse observations in internal or external audits
  5. Conversion rates of qualified leads from internal programs and partner-led initiatives
  6. Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback from internal stakeholders and external partners
  7. Process adherence in line with agreed partner frameworks and operating guidelines
  8. NFTE productivity targets and turnaround time (TAT) adherence
  9. Digital adoption across new acquisition and allied operational processes
