Sustainability & Regulatory Compliance EngineerJob DescriptionLead sustainability projects with a focus on Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), using relevant tools and methodologies.Monitor environmental regulations and implement compliance strategies for materials and components.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support multiple projects and resolve sustainability and compliance challenges.Integrate regulatory and environmental requirements into the product development process from early design stages.Manage Design for Environment activities, including IMDS submissions, supplier data validation, and compliance with IMDS and ELV requirements.Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for customer queries related to sustainability and regulatory compliance.Perform regulatory assessments and reporting for REACH, RoHS, ELV, Conflict Minerals, SCIP, PFAS, Proposition 65, and EU regulationsSkills & Experience 6-9 years of experience in Sustainability, Regulatory Compliance, and Product StewardshipHands-on experience in Sustainability Product Engineering, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) analysis for sustainability assessments and value propositionsStrong expertise in Design for Environment (DfE) and eco-design implementationIn-depth knowledge of global and EU substance regulations, including IMDS, SCIP, REACH, RoHS, ELV, Conflict Minerals, PFAS restrictions, Proposition 65, and related compliance requirementsProven experience managing global regulatory compliance and EU regulatory obligations across products and supply chainsProficient in Power BI, Excel macros, and automation tools for regulatory data management, reporting, and process optimizationAutomotive industry experience preferred / an added advantage
