Sustainability Lead Auditor (IMS - ESG)

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Lead Auditor (IMS - ESG) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in assessing and enhancing the sustainability practices of our organization and our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of Environmental Management Systems, Social Responsibility, and Governance practices, along with a strong ability to conduct thorough audits and provide actionable insights. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, driving initiatives that promote sustainable practices and compliance with international standards.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive audits of Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Social Responsibility, and Governance practices to ensure compliance with IMS standards.
• Evaluating sustainability practices and reporting mechanisms within organizations to identify areas for improvement.
• Developing audit plans, checklists, and reports in line with IMS-ESG guidelines and best practices.
• Engaging with stakeholders to educate and promote sustainability initiatives and their importance to business operations.
• Performing risk assessments related to environmental and social governance and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Staying updated on relevant regulations, certifications, and industry trends related to sustainability and ESG.
• Providing training and guidance to internal teams on sustainability auditing processes and requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in sustainability auditing, ESG compliance, or related fields, with a focus on IMS.
• Certification in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or equivalent sustainability standards is required.
• Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, regulations, and industry best practices in the Indian context.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to interpret complex sustainability data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively.
