Envint helps businesses progress on their sustainability goals with offerings across multiple service lines, sectors and themes. We currently work with diverse clients in India and overseas, on sustainability integration, promoting responsible investment and facilitating climate action.

Role & Location

We are looking for ESG Consultants across multiple levels (from 1-2, 2-5 and 5-10 years of experience) to join us in leadership and delivery roles. The consultant would work closely with Clients (Corporates, Investors and Portfolio companies) and lead/deliver engagements on Sustainability Integration, Responsible Investment and Climate Action across multiple sectors and themes deploying proprietary/third party automation & tools.

The consultant would work closely with the Partners and other team members to help build and scale-up the business across multiple service lines and geographies.

Location: Multiple - Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata. Hyderabad & Chennai will also be considered.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading & supporting corporate engagements on sustainability strategy/roadmaps and its implementation, ESG integration, sustainability targets, assessments & foot-printing, ESIAs, decarbonization & climate action, sustainable supply chain, capacity building and ESG disclosures/reporting
2. Leading & supporting investor engagements on ESG due diligences (ESG DD), ESMS roll outs, impact assessments, ESG integration for portfolio companies, capacity building & ESG/impact disclosures/reporting
3. Supporting new business development
4. Training and development of the delivery team
5. Internal knowledge development in the areas of focus

Desired profile includes:

1. Masters/Bachelors in Engineering, Sciences or Finance
2. Relevant experience, including client-facing roles and of managing teams
3. Strong understanding of global sustainability frameworks/standards, disclosure practices, DFI requirements.
4. Orientation to engage with Clients and work as a team player
5. Ability to structure thoughts, analyze data and communicate effectively
6. An entrepreneurial outlook, willingness to take initiative/ownership, and a deep interest in sustainability!
