Job Purpose
The Sustainability Analyst supports the development and execution of regional sustainability programs and ESG initiatives aligned with Sloan's global strategy. Reporting to the Vice President of Sustainability, the role manages sustainability data, assists with GHG emissions tracking, and supports product sustainability programs while collaborating across functions to drive environmental performance, product transparency, and compliance with standards such as IGBC, GHITA, ISCC, and other frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development and implementation of sustainability initiatives for India in line with global objectives.
- Maintain and audit sustainability-related product data in the Product Information Management (PIM) system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in evaluating and developing Scope 3 emissions baselines, tracking progress, and supporting accountability measures.
- Collaborate with Operations on sustainability-related CapEx projects.
- Work with Supply Chain, Sourcing, and third-party partners to develop Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and Health Product Declarations (HPDs).
- Compile and analyze environmental performance data for ESG disclosures and sustainability reporting.
- Monitor emerging sustainability regulations and frameworks in India (IGBC, GHITA, ISCC).
- Prepare sustainability reports, presentations, and metrics summaries for stakeholders.
- Provide cross-functional support to integrate sustainability practices across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or ESG reporting.
- Strong analytical, research, and data management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of sustainability frameworks, GHG accounting, and environmental performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Management, Sustainability, or related discipline.
- Experience in carbon accounting, lifecycle assessment, or ESG reporting.
- Background in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain environments.
- Knowledge of sustainability data systems or product information management tools.
