Job Description

Job Responsibilities / Skill Set:

Possess strong experience in offshore fabrication inspection activities for Electrical & Instrumentation disciplines
Demonstrate knowledge of international codes and standards such as NEC, ANSI/IEEE, ANSI/NEMA, IEC 60364, IEC 60079 (IECEx), NFPA 70 & 70E, ASTM, API, ISA, ISO/NACE, UL, and related standards
Carry out inspection at manufacturing stages for electrical equipment including substations, transformers, switchgear, motors, generators, cables, lighting systems, and protection relays
Perform inspection of instrumentation systems including analyzers, control valves, actuators, safety relief valves, and intrinsically safe systems
Inspect process control systems such as DCS, PLC, SCADA/RTU, and ESD systems
Verify installation and testing of fire detection and alarm systems as per standards
Inspect fiber optic cables, metallic control and signal cables, cable fittings, raceways, and panels
Ensure compliance with IECEx requirements for hazardous area equipment and installations
Review P&ID drawings, calibration procedures, and inspection test plans (ITPs)
Conduct stage-wise inspections, FAT, SAT, and documentation verification
Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and client specifications

Certification: IECEx / CompEx preferred
