Job Description
-Conduct underground mine surveying using Total Station and other surveying instruments.
- Carry out underground alignment, center line and grade line marking.
- Perform level, distance and coordinate measurements for mine development and operations.
- Prepare and update mine plans, sections and survey drawings.
- Conduct development and excavation surveys and maintain accurate survey records.
- Monitor mine workings and ensure surveying work is carried out as per approved mine plans.
- Assist in setting out roadways, galleries, shafts and other underground mine structures.
- Operate surveying software and prepare survey reports and documentation.
