Job Responsibilities
- Helping customers with FTTH planning and solution.
- Prepare bidding document based on customer requirements, and make sure to consider the balance of cost、technology solution delivery period, etc
- Review the OSP Network field survey report.
- Review High-level design KMZ file, and attend Design review meeting with Customer if needed
- Review design drawings.
- Can make BOQ and Review BoQ for FTTH designs
- Coordination with customer for design approval;
- Solve the technical issues from Survey, design and implementation,
- Training for survey and design engineers for survey and design skills.
Job Requirement and Qualification
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent;
- At least 2 Years of working experience in survey and design FTTH/Fiber Optic cable
- SYSTEM SKILLS: Google Earth and AutoCAD are a must. Other computer Skills, Design tools like ESRI ArcGIS, CRM Tools, Automatic Work Flow Tools, Micro Station, and Site Survey Tools are an advantage
- DESIGN SKILLS-FTTH Design Rules, Materials, Test Tools and Equipment, FTTH Standard;
- ENGINEERING SKILLS- Optimizing FTTH Design, FMIS, Route Selection, BOQ; Functions in an engineer or technical specialist capacity under general supervision. Performs all aspects of conventional outside plant (OSP) design engineering and analysis. Broadens knowledge and skills set in the area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and functional areas.
