Job Purpose/ Summary
Plan and implement overall Security goals of mega site by providing protection of assets of the assigned units, for people, infrastructure and information through his team under the direction of sub section security head.
Job Description
The Officer in Plant Security is tasked with safeguarding the assets, personnel, infrastructure, and information of the assigned units within a mega site. This role involves planning and implementing comprehensive security strategies under the guidance of the subsection security head. The Officer will lead a team to ensure the protection of the site, adapting security measures to meet the dynamic needs of the environment. The position requires a deep understanding of security operations and procedures, as well as expertise in SAP modules and data analytics for effective information management. The Officer will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive risk assessments and control measures. Additionally, the role demands strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively guide the team and coordinate with field personnel. The Officer will also handle material and equipment management related to security operations, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently. Conflict resolution and addressing safety hazards promptly are crucial to maintaining a safe environment for all site personnel.
