Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform QC on AI‑detected GeoJSON features, validating spatial accuracy, geometry, and attributes against imagery and base layers
- Use QGIS to handle vector and raster data, including digitization, editing, projection management, and spatial analysis
- Process drone imagery and GCP data to generate and review orthomosaics and DSMs using photogrammetry software (e.g., Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape)
- Assist with basic LiDAR data handling, visualization, and dataset organization
- Create and maintain annotation datasets (vector features, labels) for AI model training, ensuring consistency and standards
- Use basic Python scripting to support data validation and minor GIS/AI workflow automation
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of GIS concepts (coordinates, projections, vector/raster data)
- Hands‑on or academic experience with QGIS
- Basic understanding of drone imagery and photogrammetry outputs
- Familiarity with GeoJSON and other spatial data formats
- Basic exposure to Python scripting (reading files, basic automation
Education
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Remote Sensing, Surveying, or a related field
- Freshers are welcome; internship or academic project experience is a plus
