Job Description
As an Assistant Manager in the Residential Sales Flooring department, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in the residential flooring sector. You will be expected to leverage your technical know-how and strategic thinking to identify opportunities for business expansion and to develop and implement effective sales strategies. You will also be responsible for managing and leading a team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
Principal Accountabilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the residential flooring sectorbr Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targetsbr Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accountsbr Negotiate and close agreements with large customersbr Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvementsbr Prepare monthly quarterly and annual sales forecastsbr Stay uptodate with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on boardbr Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or productsbr Research and discover methods to increase customer engagementbr Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency and increase salesbr Ensure sales finance and legal policies and procedures are metbr Build an opencommunication environment for your teambr Liaise with the finance and legal department to ensure all procedures are metbr Use SAP and other ITrelated applications to streamline processes and improve efficiencybr Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to stay updated on market trends and challengesbr Use analytical skills to identify market opportunities and areas for improvement in the sales processbr Develop and maintain excellent customer relationship management ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyaltybr The Assistant Manager will also be expected to demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen entrepreneurship and a global mindsetbr They should also excel in people management with a focus on building and managing teams interpersonal relationships conflict management analytical thinking negotiation communication networking persuasion and customer relationship management
