The Senior Engineer in Quality Control for the Steel Rolling Mill is a pivotal role focused on ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout the production process. The engineer will collaborate closely with procurement teams to ensure the availability and quality of raw materials, facilitating seamless operations. Principal Accountabilities
Assist in the coordination and management of raw materials to ensure timely availability and quality verification before processingbr Collaborate with procurement and stores teams to facilitate seamless material flow and support quality inspectionsbr Conduct inspections and sample testing to maintain detailed records of quality checks and raw material certificationsbr Monitor production parameters and report any deviations in quality to ensure compliance with internal standards and safety guidelinesbr Prepare daily reports on raw material consumption and quality status to support operational transparency and decisionmakingbr Assist in audit readiness by maintaining documentation as per plant and compliance requirements ensuring all processes are auditready
