Supporting Actions

MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENTS & RELIABILITY

1. Do Regular/Routine rounds inside the Plant (Extrusion, Post-Extrusion, Die Shop and Die Service area, Powder Coating) to observe the equipment abnormalities like any signs of wear, damage, or malfunction and follow CLIT, self-maintenance activities, troubleshooting methods to reduce the abnormalities and reduction in Equipment Downtime
2. Ensure 100% Equipment availability by Upkeeping, Maintaining, Coordinating and Monitoring all maintenance activities like Preventive, Shutdown, Corrective, etc in Extrusion, Post-Extrusion, Die Shop and Die Service area to
3. To build a strong Maintenance Management System and utilize the same for measurement, monitoring and control of critical Maintenance Control and Result Indicators and to implement a system based on Reliability Centered Maintenance
4. Analysing maintenance processes and identifying opportunities for improvement and reduce the unplanned Delays/downtime
5. Discussion on chronic problems with your dept. team and & co-workers and eliminate it.
6. Analysis of major / minor breakdowns and plan corrective actions accordingly.

SPARES MANAGEMENT

1. Follow 7 Level Critical Spare criteria and Ensure 95% Critical spares availability and procure the required maintenance spares timely to avoid the breakdown delays.
2. Overhauling of maintenance spares regularly and keep ready with spares
3. Spare parts planning for major shutdown jobs as well as fulfilling day today basis requirements
4. Planning and procurement of advanced good quality tools and tackles for fast execution of jobs

MANPOWER MANAGEMENT

1. Providing training to other staff on proper equipment use and maintenance procedures.
2. Collaborating with other departments, such as production or engineering, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions
3. Good Co-ordination with crew members to get the job done from them

COST CONTROL

1. Identification of maintenance cost reduction parameters
2. Minimise leakages and wastages
3. Managing the maintenance including the cost of spare parts, equipment upgrades, and external services within P&B
4. Outsourcing of maintenance functions if required

SYSTEMS & AUDITS

1. To implement improvement project to reduce repetitive problems/breakdown or losses.
2. Timely submission of Kaizen, OPL, Good to fine, suggestion on system
3. Developing and sustaining Model area in respective sections
4. 100% active participation in respective daily meetings and giving inputs related to bring new technology, innovation and improvements towards productivity. Conduct awareness programs down the level team
5. To know about IMS and other systems requirement and documents for non-conformity in Department during internal and external audits or assessments.
6. Implementation of critical spares & consumable SOP without any defilement
7. Follow 7 Lead Indicators and timely closure of Workorders

Focus on SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) along with Sustainability initiatives

1. Ensuring 100% compliance of all safety standards and all applicable recommendations related to their concerned area.
2. Educating team about I know my job, I know the hazards associated with my job and I applied control measures & I escalate to my senior among manpower deployed in sections/department manpower including peer, WB & CL manpower
3. Timely conducting scheduled SO round and reporting of accidents, incidents and near misses on occurrences in the area of concern in system.
4. To conduct daily Tool Box, talk as schedule and before start the job any critical job along with SWP
5. Active participation in safety training, safety sub committees, standard champions meeting and any safety event
6. Ensure good housekeeping, limited use of power, no leakage of water, oil, air etc. and reporting concerned if any abnormalities for corrective action
7. Adhering of all safety precautions on the site and off the site
8. Replicating good practice for saving environment for long run sustainability and creating awareness among manpower to save guard natural resources.
