Job Purpose Description
To support the die design and manufacturing cell by assisting in maintenance, reliability, and upkeep of CNC machines, vacuum furnaces, and automation systems in CDS. The role contributes to ensuring machine readiness, supporting technology implementation, and maintaining process consistency to enable high-quality die manufacturing and extrusion performance.
The position focuses on executing preventive and breakdown maintenance, supporting documentation, and ensuring availability of critical spares for uninterrupted operations.
- Ensuring high uptime of advanced CNC machines, conventional machines, vacuum furnaces, auxiliary equipment, and utilities such as compressors, chillers, EOT cranes, and HVAC through timely maintenance support.
- Basic understanding and troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Assisting in the maintenance of critical machine components such as sensors, encoders, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and compressors.
- Supporting preventive and predictive maintenance activities through effective execution.
- Maintaining proper documentation of maintenance and quality records (calibration records, PM records, checklists, e-permit system, material procurement, inspections, etc.).
- Ensuring availability and tracking of critical spares to prevent downtime.
- Assisting in breakdown diagnosis and implementation of corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
- Coordinating with OEMs for AMC visits, breakdown support, and preventive maintenance activities.
