1. Analysis of Bauxite Samples

- Conduct XRF analysis for elemental composition determination.
- Perform wet chemical analysis as per standard methods.
- Carry out Total Available Alumina (TAA) analysis using Parr Bomb Digester.
- Ensure accuracy, precision, and reliability of analytical results.
- Maintain proper records of all analytical data.
- Share analysis data in approved formats as per reporting requirements.

2. Maintenance of Laboratory Equipment

- Coordinate with external calibration agencies to ensure annual calibration of laboratory instruments within scheduled timelines.
- Perform intermediate checks to ensure equipment performance.
- Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for instruments.
- Maintain calibration, AMC, and maintenance records systematically.

3. Record Management

- Maintain daily and monthly sample analysis records.
- Track and record consumables usage.
- Maintain calibration and AMC documentation properly.

-Ensure timely and accurate daily data entry in the IMMIS portal (Online portal) and Verify the uploaded data

4. Stock & Inventory Management

- Maintain stock of chemicals and stationery.
- Monitor expiry and ensure timely utilization.
- Follow FIFO inventory system.
- Ensure proper storage and handling.
- Handle PR, Move Order, SRN, and follow-up.
- Process bills and coordinate with accounts for closure.

5. LIMS Updating & Utilization

- Perform barcode generation, sample registration, and sample receiving in LIMS.
- Manage data transfer and result export through LIMS.
- Ensure accuracy and traceability of sample data within the system.

6. NABL Documentation & Compliance (ISO 17025:2017)

- Maintain all NABL-related documents as per ISO 17025:2017 requirements.
- Prepare and update technical documents, SOPs, and records as required.

-Maintain traceable records and document control.

-Support audit readiness, NC closure

- Participate in Proficiency Testing (PT) and Inter-Laboratory Comparison (ILC) programs annually.
- Support surveillance audits and fresh accreditation applications.
- Facilitate scope extension activities for new parameters.

7. Adherence to Safety Standards and Operational standard

- Report BBSO observations and Near Miss incidents in the portal.
- Update HIRA for laboratory activities periodically.
- Maintain and review Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents.
- Prepare and maintain MSDS for all chemicals.
- Ensure safe handling practices and compliance with safety requirements.

- Prepare, update, and implement SOPs and Work Instructions as per operational and management requirements.
- Ensure all procedures are standardized, documented, and followed in practice

- Conducted training to sampler on chemical handling and instrument operation.
- Ensure skill development of sampler for efficient and safe laboratory operations
