Summary:
Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) data team is looking for a professional to join our team. The individual is expected to drive the analytics front of our key business projects, come up with insights on key metrics, engage with stakeholders to earn trust, and merge data intelligence efforts centrally and globally. The candidate would be heavily engaged in a new data management platform, working on complete packaging and product design of data as products. They would be involved in visualizing and designing the end solution on Company internal tools or third-party platforms to meet the long-term goal of the ODI marketplace. Leveraging their knowledge of product and system design and cloud services, they would help in creating and deploying end-to-end solutions. This role also involves working on Total Cost of Ownership and Strategic Transformation Projects with the business.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage scalable, performant data warehouse (Redshift) tables, data pipelines, reports, and dashboards.
- Develop moderately to highly complex data processing jobs using appropriate technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark, AWS Lambda).
- Create dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business domains, requirements, and expectations, and work with data source system owners to understand capabilities and limitations.
- Deliver minimally to moderately complex data analysis.
- Actively manage project timelines and deliverables, anticipate risks, and resolve issues.
- Adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, validation, and documentation.
- Understand AI/ML and other industry solutions to know when to apply them to solve business problems.
- Proven track record of launching new products, solutions, and managing projects end-to-end.
- Excellence in verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats and going above and beyond to drive results.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
- Knowledge of AI/ML and Data Science applications.
