Skills/Knowledge :
- Basic electronics troubleshooting
- Basic computer operation and understanding of network communication
- Strong communication skills (English, Hindi, and preferably any South Indian language)
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and incident-management tools will be an added advantage
Responsibilities:-
- Daily monitoring of CORS sites
- Remote troubleshooting of network connectivity issues
- Arranging local support if a site is not restored through remote troubleshooting
- Troubleshooting solar and raw power issues, GNSS receiver, VPN router, GNSS antenna, and earthing issues with the help of local support
- Ensuring data from each CORS site is backed up to the FTP location at the Control Center and that the receiver's local storage never becomes full
- Preparing daily call logs for CORS site issues
- Logging calls with broadband ISPs and resolving mobile SIM-related issues
- Arranging spares for problematic sites, performing configuration before dispatch, and managing return of faulty units from sites
- Troubleshooting faulty equipment received from sites and coordinating repairs with respective vendors/OEMs
- Coordinating and thoroughly inspecting preventive maintenance work carried out by third-party contractors
