Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:
   • Lead and manage a team of security personnel during the designated shift.
   • Delegate responsibilities and tasks to team members effectively.
   • Conduct regular briefings and training sessions for security staff.

1. Security Operations:
   • Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
   • Conduct thorough security patrols and inspections of the premises.
   • Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies, coordinating appropriate actions.

1. Technology and Equipment:
   • Supervise the operation and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
   • Troubleshoot and address any technical issues related to security equipment.

1. Communication:
   • Maintain effective communication with security personnel, management, and other relevant departments.
   • Handle radio communication and ensure accurate and timely reporting of incidents.

1. Emergency Response:
   • Implement and enforce emergency response plans.
   • Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as necessary.

1. Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of security activities, incidents, and reports.
   • Prepare shift reports and handovers to ensure continuity of security operations.

1. Visitor and Employee Interaction:
   • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors.
   • Conduct security briefings for visitors and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

1. Legal Compliance:
   • Stay informed about relevant security laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
   • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

1. Risk Assessment:
   • Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential security vulnerabilities.
   • Implement corrective measures to mitigate security risks.

1. Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with other departments to address security concerns and implement comprehensive security solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in services (Army, Navy, Airforce)
• Proven experience in a security leadership role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Certification in security management or related fields is a plus.
• Familiarity with the copper manufacturing process is advantageous.
