Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Production Operation Support

  • Assist in safe and efficient handling of raw materials and finished products within production areas.
  • Operate equipment/machinery as per standard operating procedures (e.g., cranes, material handling tools depending on department).

2. Equipment Monitoring & Basic Maintenance

  • Perform preoperation and postoperation inspections of assigned equipment (e.g., brakes, hoist mechanisms, electrical panels, safety devices).
  • Report abnormalities to shiftincharge immediately.

3. Safety & Compliance

  • Adhere to PPE and plant safety requirements.
  • Ensure zero spillage/accident operation, especially around hot metal or hightemperature zones.
  • Participate in safety toolbox talks, BBS observations, and regular safety drills.

4. Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate with furnace, converter, production, and control room teams to maintain production sequence.
  • Support shutdown/startup and maintenance activities.

5. Housekeeping & Documentation

  • Maintain basic cleanliness of the work area, equipment cabin, and related zones.
  • Assist in documentation as required (checklists, logs, safety records).
