DESCRIPTION:
As a Systems Analyst III at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our enterprise AI & Automation systems and applications that enable organizational success. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement system improvements while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You'll leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to resolve complex issues, lead projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers opportunities to make meaningful contributions through innovative solutions while working with current technologies.

This role is support- and operations-focused, emphasizing production support, incident management, enhancements, performance tuning, and close collaboration with developers, architects, and business stakeholders. You will ensure that AI-driven automations and agent-based solutions operate reliably, securely, and in compliance with enterprise standards.


Working in an agile environment, you will act as a first and second-level support partner for AI and automation platforms, helping to troubleshoot issues, manage enhancements, coordinate releases, and improve operational maturity across intelligent automation solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in systems analysis, business requirements gathering, and solution design

  • Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration or related field

  • Hands-on experience supporting AI, RPA, or intelligent automation solutions in production environments

  • Working knowledge of UiPath (Orchestrator, queues, assets, logs, REFramework concepts)

  • Basic to intermediate experience with Python-based AI or automation solutions (troubleshooting, configuration, light scripting-not heavy development)

  • Experience supporting LLM-enabled or AI-assisted automations, including prompt updates, validation workflows, and monitoring outputs

  • Familiarity with Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) concepts and approval workflows

  • Experience troubleshooting API integrations, data issues, authentication failures, and environment-specific problems

  • Strong experience of incident management, root-cause analysis, and operational support models

  • Experience with Git and Azure DevOps for tracking changes, deployments, and release coordination

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with developers, business users, and platform teams

  • Ability to work in regulated, governed enterprise environments

PREFERRED:

  • Experience supporting UiPath AI Center, Document Understanding, or Power Platform solutions

  • Familiarity with AI governance, auditability, and model monitoring concepts

  • Experience working in GxP, SOX, FDA, or other regulated environments

  • UiPath Certification or Microsoft Power Platform certification

  • Experience creating or maintaining support documentation, SOPs, and operational dashboards
