Responsibilities
Job Description
- Solving problems by providing level one and level two support while managing a rich suite of trading applications
- Proposing and executing automation efforts to keep the operational burden low and to enhance reliability
- Monitoring daily reports and run of scheduled jobs
- Monitoring and reporting on the status and health of our systems
- Serving as the primary technical contact for the whole trading team, engaging in direct communication with traders and developers
- Participating in on-call rotation and occasional weekend shifts
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field
- At least three years of relevant experience
- Strong scripting skills in Python, and Bash
- Thorough understanding of Linux fundamentals and basic knowledge of OS concepts
- Experience with configuration management, source control, automated deployment
- Knowledge of SQL and use of databases
