The role of Supply Manager Program is based in Pune, India.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project purchasing activities within a project team for programs located in Europe or the Americas (offshore purchasing).
- Prepare RFQs, conduct supplier consultations and negotiations, manage sourcing decisions, and ensure follow-up after supplier nomination.
- Ensure quality, cost, and timing objectives are achieved with suppliers located outside India.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across engineering, logistics, and quality during the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Mechanical or Plastics engineering background.
- 8–10 years of experience in New Product Development and Supplier Management.
- Solid experience as a Project Buyer on international projects.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
