We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist based in Bangalore to support and streamline our supply chain and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with end-to-end shipping documentation, FOB drop-shipment processes, and close coordination with factories and logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain activities for assigned product lines, ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Prepare, review, and maintain complete shipping documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/air waybills, certificates of origin, export declarations, etc.).
- Liaise directly with factory partners to confirm production schedules, packing specifications, and shipping readiness; drive resolution of issues affecting shipments.
- Coordinate FOB shipments including scheduling carrier pick-ups, supervising container stuffing where required, and ensuring compliance with agreed Incoterms.
- Handle drop-shipment and FOB invoicing/billing processes: prepare billing documents, validate freight and other logistics charges, and coordinate with finance for timely invoicing and collections.
- Track shipments through carriers and forwarders, provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders, and proactively manage exceptions or delays.
- Work with customs brokers and compliance teams to ensure correct classification, valuation, and documentation for smooth clearance.
- Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs (on-time delivery, freight costs, lead times, claims, etc.) and recommend improvements to reduce cost and lead time.
- Support inventory reconciliation, returns, and claims processes as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and data in ERP/WMS systems and assist in periodic audits.
- Support cross-functional teams (procurement, production planning, sales, and finance) on supply chain matters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
- 46 years experience in supply chain/shipping operations.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, FOB, drop-shipment processes, and Incoterms.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
