Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Factory & Dispatch Coordination

  • Coordinate with manufacturing units to finalize daily/weekly dispatch plans based on demand and inventory requirements.
  • Ensure timely vehicle planning, loading schedules, and dispatch adherence.
  • Track dispatch status and resolve delays or exceptions proactively.

Logistics & Transportation Management

  • Coordinate with logistics partners and transporters to align trucks from factory to warehouse (WH).
  • Ensure timely unloading, GRN completion, and discrepancy resolution at warehouses.
  • Monitor transit TATs and escalate deviations.

Warehouse Operations Management

  • Coordinate with multiple warehouses across geographies.
  • Oversee inbound, storage, outbound, and inventory movements.
  • Ensure warehouse SLAs, productivity, and inventory accuracy.

Order Processing & Fulfilment

  • Manage order processing across all channels:
  • Amazon
  • Flipkart
  • D2C (website)
  • Ensure order flow, allocation, dispatch, and delivery performance meet SLAs.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and last-mile partners for daily order closure.

3PL & Partner Management

  • Act as the single point of contact for 3PL warehouse and logistics partners.
  • Handle day-to-day operational issues and drive quick resolutions.
  • Conduct regular reviews on performance, TAT, and service quality.

Billing & Cost Control

  • Validate monthly 3PL warehouse and logistics bills.
  • Reconcile invoices against actual movements, SLAs, and rate cards.
  • Highlight cost leakages and optimization opportunities.

Inventory Control & Audit

  • Conduct monthly stock audits across warehouses.
  • Manage box replacement activities and damaged inventory segregation.
  • Track ageing inventory and drive corrective actions.

Returns & RTV Management

  • Manage customer returns, marketplace returns, and RTV (Return to Vendor) processes.
  • Coordinate inspections, QC, refurbishment, and closure of returns.
  • Analyze return reasons and support corrective action planning.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly SCM dashboards.
  • Share MIS on inventory, dispatch, TAT, returns, and costs.
  • Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of SCM, logistics, and warehouse operations in e-commerce.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon & Flipkart operations.
  • Experience managing 3PL partners (warehouse & transportation).
  • Strong coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with good Excel / reporting skills.
  • Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in mattress, furniture, bulky goods, or large-format logistics preferred.
  • Prior experience in D2C + marketplace operations is a strong plus.
  • Exposure to multi-warehouse, multi-city operations.
