Role Overview
We are looking for a high-potential Supply Chain & Production Manager to own end-to-end manufacturing and supply operations for Mindlabs IoT devices. This role is ideal for MBA freshers in Operations/Supply Chain who want hands-on exposure to real-world hardware manufacturing at scale.
You will work closely with founders, engineering, and EMS partners to manage procurement, production planning, inventory, quality, and logisticsensuring Mindlabs can
deliver thousands of devices reliably and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Manufacturing- Support end-to-end production planning for Mindlabs IoT devices (dataloggers, gateways, anchors, etc.).
- Coordinate with EMS partners for SMT, assembly, testing, and packaging.
- Track production schedules aligned with sales forecasts and project timelines.
- Work with engineering on DFM/DFT feedback to improve yield, cost, and manufacturability.
- Monitor batch deliveries (e.g., 1K10K lots) and flag risks early.
Supply Chain & Procurement- Assist in sourcing BOM components (MCUs, sensors, PCBs, batteries, enclosures, etc.).
- Maintain vendor databases and RFQs.
- Track component lead times, MOQs, and availability.
- Support negotiations and cost comparisons across vendors.
- Help build multi-vendor strategies for critical parts.
Quality & Compliance- Implement incoming, in-process, and final QC checks.
- Maintain test, calibration, and traceability records.
- Track RMAs, failures, and corrective actions with EMS partners.
- Ensure documentation required for customer and regulatory compliance.
Inventory & Logistics- Maintain records for raw material, WIP, and finished goods.
- Track serial numbers and device lifecycle.
- Coordinate dispatches to customer sites.
- Help minimize wastage, dead stock, and delays.
Cost & Performance Management- Track BOM, conversion, and landed costs per unit.
- Build dashboards for production, yield, and lead times.
- Support pricing and scale-up decisions with data.
Who Should Apply- MBA freshers or final-year students specializing in Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
- Prior experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, or hardware startups is optional.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with Excel/Sheets.
- Interest in hardware, IoT, and real-world operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to visit factories, vendors, and warehouses.
