What would you do Supplier Ordering is responsible for accurate and timely creation, maintenance, and governance of purchase orders for direct suppliers within the clothing retail business. The role ensures effective management of order changes, intake alignment to support on-time delivery, stock availability, and trading performance. Fulfill in supply chain planning refers to the process of completing customer orders by ensuring products are picked, packed, and delivered efficiently. It involves managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer expectations. The goal is to ensure that orders are accurately and promptly fulfilled. Assess, design, build and Implement best practices on process, organization, and technology for Order Management from Order Creation to Order Fulfillment, financial settlement including order prioritization, purchase order receipt, invoice matching, inventory availability and promise, accuracy and fulfillment, provisioning of services and activation of billing. Includes Distributed Order Management for both on-line and physical network management.
What are we looking for
- Microsoft Excel Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree/master's degree
- 5-8 years of experience in retail operations, supply chain, pricing, or merchandising support
- Strong understanding of purchase order lifecycle in a clothing/fashion retail environment.
- Experience managing order amendments, cancellations, and intake alignment.
- Familiarity with ERP and buying systems (SAP, Oracle, JDA,or similar)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills Nice to Have (one or more of the following)

- Create and release purchase orders (POs) in line with buying plans, trade strategy, and supplier agreements.
- Manage PO amendments and cancellations, ensuring correct approvals, system updates, and clear communication to suppliers.
- Maintain PO accuracy across quantity, cost, delivery dates, locations, and incoterms.
- Ensure all PO activity complies with internal controls and audit requirements. Intake & Delivery Management
- Conduct weekly intake checks to ensure orders are aligned to intake plans and capacity.
- Monitor delivery performance and highlight risks to intake, availability, and trade.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Logistics teams to resolve intake issues and re-phase deliveries where required.
- Support peak and seasonal intake planning. Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary operational contact for suppliers on PO-related queries.
- Coordinate with Buying, Merchandising, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment across ordering, intake, and payment.
- Support continuous improvement in supplier ordering processes and communication. Reporting & Controls
- Produce regular reporting on PO status, intake performance, amendments, cancellations, and K&N metrics.
- Maintain high data accuracy and ensure timely updates in ERP and planning systems.
- Support audits and compliance checks related to purchasing and intake.
