Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic mid-level Supply Chain Manager to drive end-to-end supply chain operations for Sunthings (www.sunthings.co), our fast-growing frozen fruits and vegetables brand. Based in Bengaluru, you will ensure fill rates above 95% on q-commerce platforms through efficient inventory management, system implementation, and seamless coordination with partners. This role offers strong growth potential into leadership as we expand across platforms, locations, and modern trade channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage a robust Supply Chain Management System (SCM) including inventory tracking, batch management, returns processing, dashboards, and real-time reporting to optimize operations.
- Maintain fill rates above 95% on q-commerce platforms by monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand, and minimizing stockouts or overstock.
- Coordinate end-to-end processes with warehouses, delivery partners, GRN coordinators, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment and quality control.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, drive cost optimization (e.g., reducing logistics and wastage expenses), and improve overall efficiency.
- Handle returns, reverse logistics, and compliance with food safety standards for frozen products.
- Generate actionable insights from dashboards to support scaling into new platforms, locations, and modern trade outlets.
- Fluently communicate in English, Hindi, and Tamil to liaise with diverse stakeholders including local vendors and pan-India partners.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain roles, ideally in FMCG, frozen foods, or q-commerce/e-commerce.
- Proven track record in SCM systems (e.g., ERPNext, SAP, or similar) with hands-on experience in setup, inventory/batch tracking, and dashboard creation.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools for data-driven decision-making.
- Multilingual: Fluent in English, Hindi, and Tamil (written and spoken).
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Karnataka and India for warehouse audits or partner meetings.
